Protest Resources

Recently, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a black man named George Floyd was brutally murdered by a police officer who sat on his neck despite his pleas that he couldn’t breathe. A video of this brutality filmed by bystanders spread across social media, resulting in protests erupting across the US that called for the end of violence against African American people and displayed public support of the Black Lives Matter movement. Though not everyone may be able to march and protest, below are a compilation of resources to help you get involved in different ways. By signing a petition, donating, or informing yourself, you can make a positive impact. At the same time, feel free to write in to be published in the next issue! Stay safe and healthy.
