My Gratitude to Our Entire Indian Springs Community

All of us underwent a drastically different year. I myself had not predicted learning remotely thirteen hours away from my campus over summer. I had planned to be back on campus, and fortunately, this plan was greatly supported by the school. It took me some time to get back to the United States of America, but I could not be more grateful after safely arriving in Atlanta.

Even in difficult times, this community has supported me. I felt like I was back home. On October 30, it was around 50 degrees Fahrenheit and cold, yet Mrs. Griffin drove to Atlanta to pick me up. I am very grateful for her great effort to help me return and for our unique strength as a community in these abnormal circumstances.

When I entered the beautiful gate, what surprised me more was that our school was “normal”. It is very difficult to achieve this, and I think this is the joint effort of everyone. I thank all of you that have dedicated to keeping a safe environment to learn and to live.

While things are changing, our “Learning through living” remains strong. Apparently, we are working together to overcome it. After being a remote student for three months, I finally see smiling faces that are all around the campus. This makes me feel great.

Currently, there are still many difficulties for people like me to return to school. I really appreciate how Indian Springs gives me an opportunity to get educated in such a great school with a great atmosphere. I genuinely appreciate all of the teachers. You are spreading passion and are dedicated to imparting precious knowledge and spirit to us.

As an international student, I always think about how I can better serve the school as a student. It is clear that I will always be devoted to this place. Moreover, I always feel a sense of duty to represent the school well, wherever I am at. Despite being an international student, I felt included. Thus, I firmly believe that tirelessly devoting to the entire community creates a greater environment for all of us. I learn from contribution, and I myself am in charge of my personal contributions. I believe that our community will get better and better.

Thank you, everyone!

For all the readers of this article, I sincerely wish you all the best, and stay safe!
